Get ready to experience high speed internet and file transfers in seconds, as the SIG(special interest group) has made the launch of Bluetooth official. This release will be called Bluetooth 3.0 and connects via 802.11. With this you can expect fast file transfer upto 3Mbps to 24Mbps. But you will have to wait till May 2010 to get it on to your hands. As companies are still struggling to match the specifications of Bluetooth 2.0

Which is a better option Hibernate or Sleep

Sleep or Hibernate?
Most of my friends ask me which is a better option Sleep or Hibernate. First of all let us know what exactly happens in your computer whenever you choose any of these options.

Hibernate : All the open files/programs are saved on the hard disk. And the computer switches off. No more power is wasted.

Sleep : All the open files/programs are saved on the Ram and computer remains on.

So, whenever you are working on any small file(which counts in KB) and you have not saved it sleep is a better option. But, if you are using programs which use a lot of Ram and have big file size.(Eg. premiere pro) Hibernate is a better option.

Resuming the windows is easier in Hibernate mode as the files are retrieved faster from a hard disk rather than RAM.

Note : If using a laptop Hibernate is always a better option as it saves the battery charge.
